I feel like candles are such a special and intimate part of a home and I love to fill my room with them, along with matches. Matches have so much character, especially when they are specific to a restaurant or store. In my opinion, lighting a candle with a match helps bring a story alive. By collecting matches I am bringing life back to old memories, keeping the fire alive.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?
My favorite match is this one of the vintage girl saying “Facing a heat wave!” I love to ice skate and make digital collages and my favorite subjects in them are women from vintage advertisements! This matchbook is a perfect combo. There’s something about this matchbook that makes me feel nostalgic and happy. I love winter and love vintage ads.
