WHY DO YOU LIKE AND COLLECT MATCHES?
I love the design and old-school nostalgia you get from matchbooks. It brings you back to the period of traditional style and elegance but has the cool flair that you don't see in a lot of things anymore. It reminds me of my favorite places around the world that I feel represents my vibe and aesthetic.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?
My favorite matchbooks are the one's where I have unique experiences in. Whether that's going on solo business trips to Portugal or going to cool places in New York City that I feel is a part of my aesthetic. I like to have something to remember it with, and matchbooks help with that memory.
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
I typically just keep them in a box. I don't really like to use them since most of the ones I have aren't near me and accessible so I can't just replace them.
