WHY DO YOU LIKE AND COLLECT MATCHES?
My grandmother collected matches and I used to go through them as a child fascinated by all of the places she traveled to. I started my own collection at 18 years old. Ironically my first matchbooks came from the Amalfi Coast in Italy, which is where I spend most of my time in the summer these days. I have a bad memory at times, but I can somehow remember almost every place from the matchbooks I have collected over the years.
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
Ha! I have a weird rule about not using the matches from my collection so I usually grab two sets. For candles (or the occasional cigarette on vacation).
