WHY DO YOU LIKE AND COLLECT MATCHES?

I love the ASMR sensation of lighting a match. From the sound, to the smell, to the quality of the flame, a lighter will just never compare. I collect them because there is nothing chicer than a beautifully illustrated little box that brings you back to somewhere or something you love.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?

My favorite ones are from @brooklyncandlestudio because they are long which is great to light candles, they come with feel good messages on the box, and they are from New York which I miss everyday.

WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?

My favorite time to use my precious matches is while hosting. I always light a zillion candles, and I also love to light my friends' cigarettes. It’s traditionally a male gesture, so I love when women adopt it.
