Matchbooks always feel like the perfect keepsake as they’re practical in size and function while also serving as a reminder of some of my favorite memories.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?
My most prized matchbooks are from restaurants, brands I work with or admire personally, and hotels I’ve traveled to. A few callouts: as a @ganni girl, their collaboration with @boy__smells was a big moment; @thewarmstore was my favorite NYC shop before it shut down; and @joesstonecrab will forever be a staple in my Miami rotation.
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
I work from home so I’m constantly burning through candles at all hours of the day—right now it’s Sea Ranch by @westerndisco on repeat. I don’t have the best skills with lighters so I’m always reaching for the nearest box of matches, it’s something I’m not really precious with.
