WHY DO YOU LIKE AND COLLECT MATCHES?
I never intentionally meant to collect matches, I just somehow acquired a few. The first matches I collected were ones that I purchased from one of those hippy stores in our local mall.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?
My favorite is my cherry blossom scented incense matches. My maternal grandparents are southeast Asian, so I grew up around lit incenses regularly as a kid! They’re very nostalgic. My grandfather also passed away last year so they’re extra special to me!
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
I like to enjoy my matches when I light my candles. My lighters somehow manage to go missing and are always found in my boyfriend’s possession…but he never takes my matches! I also enjoy using my incense matches when I know I won’t be home long enough to evenly melt my candles (inner Capricorn) but want a minute to relax with some cherry blossom or rain smoke.
