WHY DO YOU LIKE AND COLLECT MATCHES?
The restaurants that I frequent become an extension of my home, I spend mornings and nights at these places sometimes 5x a week because of my job! Having their matches in my apartment brings an extra sense of familiarity and comfort into my home.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?
My favorite ones are my matches from @raoulsrestaurantnyc and @santambroeus. Both of these restaurants hold a special place in my heart. At all points in my career and life these places have been hospitable and welcoming. I love the Raoul's logo too, it is timeless and every time I catch a glimpse of it on the matches, memories of nights spent there pop into my head and make me smile! And the @montserrat_ny matches we made for an event because well, it’s logo-mania right?
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
My matches are the perfect accessories on my coffee table! Often seen on my favorite @gucci Garden’s ceramic tray or next to my Cotton Poplin @officialbyredo candles. And on super cold New York nights there is nothing better than staying in with lots of candles lit, a good movie, great takeout, and even better company ;)
