There was never a lighter in my house growing up, always matches. I specifically remember, on Sundays after my mom would clean the house she’d light candles that smelled like eucalyptus and linen. That routine stuck with me.

My favorite matchbook is a red and gold stamped one that my friend @emthecreative sent me from Florida. I also love my “Greetings from Florida” one because it reminds me of home.
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
At the end of the day, when it’s time to wind down I like to strike a match and light a few candles around my apartment. My skin-care routine shortly follows. Using matches is just part of the cozy atmosphere I like to create at home!
