WHY DO YOU LIKE AND COLLECT MATCHES?
I collect matches because I think they are the chicest item from a place and a way to collect physical mementos in a non-cheesy or gimmicky way. They signify places I love and memories I have.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE ONES AND WHY?
My favorite is the @fordplantation one because that’s the community we have a vacation home in Savannah, GA which is one of my favorite places ever, and I think it’s so cool they still have that lasting vintage touch of giving out matches. I also love my @mrchow and @thespaniardnyc matches, as they are two of my favorite places in NYC and the packaging of the Spaniard ones is so unique.
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU LIKE TO ENJOY YOUR MATCHES?
I love to use my matches very sparingly to light candles, but mostly I love to enjoy them as a home decor accent and display them in vintage glass dishes around my apartment.
